Additional info/contents	Purple Drums is a modern entertaining piece for wind orchestra and soloistic, complicated drums. The piece is intended to give every percussionist in a band the opportunity to present himself as a soloist and individually according to his ability or technical aptitude. The given sheet music is only an indication, which means that the drummer can and should play what he likes best. The soloist has the possibility to improvise in the cadenza and in the B-part. The cadenza can last two to three minutes. If there are several percussionists available, they can "accompany" the percussionist with the given instruments or rhythms.
