Additional info/contents	The Dutch composer Arie Malando was often inspired by original Latin-american music. Being a percussionist himself he often made use of exotic percussion-instruments in his orchestrations. Malando earned his greatest fame as a composer of tangos. His most famous tango Olé Guapa was said to be played almost every minute in some or other place in the world. Short before his death Malando made two tours to Japan where his music (and his orchestra) enjoyed a tremendous popularity.
