Additional info/contents	This work was commissioned by the Musikverein Prechtal e. V. on the occasion of its 100th anniversary in 2021. The composition begins with a powerful, rhythmic motif, which soon develops into the main theme of the fast-paced overture. Determined, joyful melodies and a positive atmosphere characterise this spirited work. The strong basic beat has a firm grip on the music and only gradually calms down in a dreamy middle section that seems as if from another world. Dreamy thoughts can arise in this atmospheric section and allow for all kinds of visions. But the energy of the previous motifs returns and brings us back to the pulsating now full of optimism and determination for the next 100 years and the departure to wonderful new shores!
