Additional info/contents	“The land of the cornflower” is Estonia. The national flower also served as a symbol of resistance during the Soviet era. In The Land of the Cornflower, Rob Goorhuis gives an impression of Estonia and then puts the spotlight on the traditional folk song melodies Kohaanuška, Minoorne labajalg and Padespaan. This composition was commissioned by the Estonian wind orchestra Vabariiklik Orkestrijuhtide Puhkpilliorkester (conductor: Bert Langeler).
