Additional info/contents	I Love the 207 was composed in February 2010 as a commission for the Osumi Symphonic Band in Kyoto (Japan). The premiere took place on April 25, 2010 with the Osumi Symphonic Band, conducted by Masanori Ozaki. The piece begins with an introduction introducing all the instruments; then a light scherzo follows. The title is an affectionate reference to the West Japan Railway Company's 207 series commuter trains. During the band's early days, the 207 series trains began crossing the fields very close to the rehearsal room. With this piece, the composer wants to express his hope that the trains will continue to run and put a smile on people's faces.
