Composer Goorhuis, Rob
Duration 15:00
Additional info/contents Thomas Tallis wrote his second Psalm in 1567 as a part of his ‘Nine tunes for Archbishop Parker’s Psalter’ which was used frequently in the past as a source of inspiration. Whereas composers like Vaughan Williams or Philip Sparke actually quoted the theme and varied around it in a recognisable way, Rob Goorhuis, in his version, uses the theme more disguised at the beginning and presents it in its original form once but in a stunning and spectacular way.
