Man hört nacheinander Geuzenlied, Lied van Hertog Jan, Merck Toch Hoe Sterck, Blauwgeruiten Kiel und eine besondere Fassung der Nationalhymne Wilhelmus. In Variollanda 'king of marches' Wim Laseroms ingeniously compiled a series of well-known Dutch folk songs. One hears fragments of Beggars Song, Duke Jan Song, Merck Toch Hoe Sterck, Diamond Blue Overall and a remarkable version of our Dutch national anthem, Wilhelmus. Dans la marche Variollanda le roi de la marche néerlandaise Wim Laseroms a inclus de facon ingénieuse plusieurs anciennes chansons populaires néerlandaises. On entend successivement Geuzenlied, Lied van Hertog Jan, Merck Toch Hoe Sterck, Blauwgeruiten Kiel et une version remaquable de l'hymne national Wilhelmus. In Variollanda heeft 'marsenkoning' Wim Laseroms op ingenieuze wijze een serie bekende (oud)-Hollandse volksliedjes aan elkaar gesmeed. Achtereenvolgenszijn stukken te horen van Geuzenlied, Lied van Hertog Jan, Merck Toch Hoe Sterck, Blauwgeruiten Kiel en een opmerkelijke versie van het Wilhelmus.
