Additional info/contents	Jean-Philippe Rameau is primarily remembered as an influential music theorist even though he eas also a noteworthy composer, displaying great melodic and harmonic inventiveness. He was so intrigued by two Native Americans from Luisiana who visited Paris that he wrote a harpsichord piece, "Les Sauvages" which he later re-used in his opera-ballet "Les Indes Galantes", as the "Dance of the Peace Pipe". This arrangement explores new aspects of this music without losing the original feel.
