The text of the chorale section is derived from the songs 'Just before the sunset” and 'Africa, my Continent”. Machweo signifie à peu près « coucher de soleil » en swahili. Cette belle composition de style africain a été pourvue d'une partition optionnelle pour chœur. Le texte de cette partition pour chœur s'inspire des chansons « Just before the sunset » et « Africa, my Continent ». Machweo betekent zoveel als 'zonsondergang” in het Swahili.
