Additional info/contents As the title suggests, "Kentish Dances" consists of traditional dance melodies from the English county of Kent. Popular since the 17th century, folk dances have been handed down in great numbers, providing Philip Sparke with a rich source for this three-movement work, which alternates lively and vivacious melodies with more melancholic tunes and sweet passages.
