Dem Stimmenset liegen kurze Gedichte in englischer Sprache bei, welche vor den musikalischen Darbietungen vorgetragen werden können. Je nach Ihrer Beziehung zu allem was kreucht und fleucht kann diese Suite als 'Ungeziefer' oder 'Nützlinge' betitelt werden. A unique suite in four movements: 'Fireflys', 'Daddy Long Legs', Butterflies', and 'March of the Ants' (each movement can be performed separately). Short poems are used to introduce each movement and the delightful music which follows is sure to make 'Bugs!' a favorite with students and audiences everywhere. Great teaching material for developing bands! A real winner! It is a programmatic work written in four short movements, each depicting a delightful insect: 1. Fireflies (1'21') 2. Daddy Long Legs (1'1') 3. Butterflies (1'47') 4. March of the Ants (1'13') The corresponding poetry by Ralph Venezia adds a whimsical depiction of each of these creatures.
