Composer Bouthier, Christian
Difficulty level 2
Evaluation level of countries D1 (German entry level)
Duration 5:00
Additional info/contents Christian Bouthier was inspired to write The Craftsmen while strolling through a market where ancient crafts were demonstrated. In the three movements of his composition, the sound impressions are very clearly translated into music: the ticking of nostalgic clocks at the watchmaker's, the hammering of the cooper while building wooden barrels and finally the beating of the horseshoes before the farrier shoes the horses. A work from the Flexible 5 series for a variable five-part line-up that musicians and audiences will enjoy!
