Additional info/contents	The march was composed in 1956 when Kelly was serving as the bandmaster of the Royal Sussex Regiment in Korea. The story behind the title is connected with the Dutch town of Arnhem, where one of the largest operations took place during the Second World War. With 1068 aeroplanes and 478 gliders, a total of 20 000 menwere put on the ground on the night of 17 September 1944 in the occupied Netherlands in order to open a corridor for the British troops. Some 17 000 men were killed or wounded during this unsuccessful operation, and one of the bloodiest battles took place at Arnhem.
