Additional info/contents	Vita Pro Musica is an inspired classically shaped overture for wind band. A typical introduction is followed by the traditional sequence fast-slow-fast. The first part is rhythmically characterized by time changes that break the up-tempo melodie. The lyrical part in the middle offers a soloist quartet (two flugelhorns, baritone and tuba) the possibility the develop rich timbres. The closing part of the piece is a rousing tarantella that highlights the entire broad sound spectrum of the wind band.
