Additional info/contents	The Sahara piece takes you on a journey into the world's largest dry desert, located in the north of the African continent. It covers 8 million square kilometres and stretches across ten states. The work describes the different landscapes of the Sahara, played by different instrumental groups to represent the respective special features. Both a very rhythmic passage with lots of percussion and a chorale-like part with beautiful brass passages make the work a wonderful and challenging piece. With the help of this work, you can also practise various technical aspects with your wind orchestra; it is also excellently suited as a concert or competition piece.
