Additional info/contents	In his composition "Fiesta de la Vida" - a 'celebration of life' - Philip Sparke incorporated the temperament and zest for life of Latin America. The original melodies in Latin American style entice everyone on stage and in the auditorium to dance. The work was designed as a celebration of the life of the band's founding director John Swain (Golden State British Brass Band (GSBBB) from California), whose vitality and enthusiasm for music was a major factor in the formation and success of the GSBBB.
