Additional info/contents	Léo Delibes (1836-1891) wrote this melody after a poem by d'Alfred de Musset (1810-1857). The 'Chanson' was very successful both in France and abroad and is still part of the repertoire of great female singers. Jaques Devogel arranged this piece after the original for voice and piano. He uses the theme in two repetitions, the first played by the clarinets, the second by the saxophones. The audience is as fascinated today as it was when it was written.
