Additional info/contents	The composition Onda de Esperanca (Wave of Hope) was written at the request of PwC Portugal, as part of the Excellence Mare Awards, with the aim of recognising the merits of all people and organisations that contribute to the sustainable enhancement of marine resources. The composer was inspired by the sea that surrounds him and the Azores Islands (where he lives) and composed this work to relive the emotions one feels when living in the "centre of the ocean", the Azores. The composition is divided into 7 parts that explore these emotions: I. The Sea II. the sea dance III. reflection IV. The Violence and Power of the Sea V. Hope VI. the calling of men to adventure, and VII. let us ride this wave The wave of hope is a tribute to the sea!
