Additional info/contents	This chorale is a tribute to the great Saint Francis and his life's work. A powerful fanfare introduces a melodious, slow part. Here an attempt is made to describe the beauty and melancholy of the landscape around Assissi, which had a lasting influence on the saint. In the following Allegro, the music increases more and more until finally the theme of the introductory fanfare flows in again.
