Mountain Ridge Overture is a fantastic addition to the concert band repertoire. It features syncopated melodies that explore a variety of meters, including 5/8, 3/8, 4/4, 3/4 and 5/4. Polychords and major seventh and ninth chords are used freely, achieving an exceptional spectrum of sound.
