Additional info/contents	With Kleines Vorspiel Pavel Stanék has composed an effective opening work whose music achieves a special effect through various contrasts. The Kleines Vorspiel begins solemnly and majestically before moving into a serene Vivace section. The lively theme in tenor horn/baritone and flugelhorn is playfully accompanied by the woodwinds and trumpets and trombones repeat the theme in fanfare-like sounds. It continues in a cheerful and light-hearted manner, with tutti passages alternating with more discreet soloistic passages. In the slow middle section, the individual registers show their sensitive side. The flute and horn in particular indulge in beautiful solos. The third part leads back to the light-heartedness of the beginning and brings the 'Little Prelude' to a solemn conclusion.
