Additional info/contents	Norbert Zehm was inspired to write this piece during his years of study in London from 1986 - 91. The then conductor of the Bishop's Stortford High School Wind Band, Colin Bell, commissioned the work in 1990. It was to be a short fanfare, a one-movement opening piece, which was completed in 1991 and finally premiered in March 1992 by the Magistratsmusik Wels under Walter Rescheneder in Wels/ Upper Austria. Since then, "Images From A City" has been performed frequently and broadcast on radio. The piece was recorded on CD in 1993 by the Wind Orchestra of the Bruckner Conservatory under the direction of Johann Mösenbichler.
