Additional info/contents	Though not technically challenging, the work has deeply expressive moments encouraging a requisite musical maturity. With compelling solos, tutti/ensemble interplay, and a cadenza, Airs aptly serves the need for required piece that, while not too demanding, is satisfying for even an adult ensemble to prepare. This composition was one of five test piece options commissioned in 2004 for the annual All Japan Band Contest.
