Additional info/contents	This very impressive slow and expressive composition, which is characterised by close, lush harmonies and memorable melodies, was commissioned for the death of Holly Spivey, a young student and musician who died in a fire on 4 October 2002. Reineke strikes quieter tones in this work (Light of the Sky). Contains unique textures not found in the usual band or wind ensemble pieces and is a wonderful choice for any performance situation. Contains effective clarinet and flute solos accompanied by vibraphone and marimba. Marimba and vibraphone are obligatory. If these instruments are not occupied, they would have to be replaced by a keyboard.
