Additional info/contents	Das ausgesprochen beliebte Repertoire-Stück Exsultate, justi mit seinem charakteristischen Wechsel von geradem und ungeradem Metrum und einigen ausdrucksvollen Melismen war bereits zu Lebzeiten Viadanas ein voller Erfolg und liegt nun in einer Neuedition mit ausgesetztem Generalbass (ad lib.) vor. Viadana wollte ein leicht singbares Werk für kleinere Ensembles schaffen und erreichte dieses Ziel, indem er auf Textverständlichkeit Rücksicht nahm und eine einfachere, vorwiegend akkordische Schreibweise bevorzugte.
