Additional info/contents	Carl Orff wrote his Little World Theatre "The Moon" in 1936/38 based on an older fairy tale. The score, conceived for singing performers, a narrator and a large orchestra, certainly also contains parts that are significant for a wind orchestra. For the present arrangement, four scenes were selected that are best suited for a modified instrumentation. The arranger Hermann Regner (*1928) worked closely with Carl Orff for many years.
