Auf der CD sind – neben live eingespielten Demo- und Mitspielversionen – auch die Combostimmen zum Ausdrucken enthalten. The very successful book Moments of Wings is now followed by Moments of Latin with ten songs on Brazilian and Caribbean styles, scuh as the bossa nova, samba, clypso and merengue. The Pieces are based in chord schemes from the common Real Book repertoire. In addition to these new adventurous melodies, the original themes of the pieces can generally be played over the accompaniments in the CD. The solo parts have been made to sound like improvisations, but chord symbols have been added, so that you can also improvise yourself. On the CD - apart from the live demo and play-along recordings - you will find the parts of the combo in prontable format. Après le vif succès du recueil Moments of Swing, voici Moments of Latin, un rucueil de dix pièces qui plongent leurs recines dans les musqiues brésilienne et cariéenne telles que la bossa nova, la samba, le calypso, et le merengue. Les morceaux sont basßes sur des suites d'accords extraites du recueil Real Book. Nouvelles et pleines d'audace les mélodies de ce recueil peuvent néanmoins être accompangnées des thèmes originaux qu'il sduffit de superposer avec l'accompagnement sur compact disc. Les solos ont été écrits comme des vraies improvisations, mais les partitions comportent également des symbols d'accords pour vous aider à structurer une improvisation personelle. Sur le compact disc inclus, vous trouverez une version intégrale de chaques pièces, und version avec accompagnement seul et des versions imprimables des parties de combo (format pdf).
