Additional info/contents	The work was written for the Donaueschinger Musiktage 1926 and premiered there together with Paul Hindemith's "Konzertmusik" and Ernst Toch's "Spiel" for wind orchestra. Until a few years ago, the score was considered lost. This first edition reproduces the original movement, which has been carefully extended for today's usual wind orchestra line-up. The work is suitable for upper and upper level orchestras, especially since it is one of the first real compositions for this ensemble form. Piccolo Flute Oboe (opt.) Bassoon (opt.)
