Programme notes *: Thomas Doss dedicated this composition to his two eldest children Edi and Ana-Maria. For many parents, the childhood years pass too quickly. However, the days sometimes seem endless when your cherubs ask for your full attention and push you to the limit, to the point of no longer knowing where to look. Parents never find the necessary rest. Skinned knees, stained sofas and devastated playrooms are the ideal ingredients for unleashing yourself to music. Yet the enchanting smile on a child's face is enough to justify all the efforts we make. This composition was written in the middle of stuffed animals, children's cars and legos.
