Additional info/contents	"The Glory of Love" is a great, very emotional and effective piece, which was superbly arranged for wind orchestra by Johan de Meij and became a real "wind orchestra classic". It was originally sung by the famous tenor Siegfried Jerusalem, who is primarily associated with the opera stage, especially Bayreuth. Upscale entertainment, on the other hand, is not his real musical home. But when he turns to it with hand-picked songs, he follows the example of many a famous colleague. "The Glory of Love" was the title number with which he presented a selection of such songs on CD. The composers of "The Glory of Love" are Roland Heck and Gerd Köthe, who have been working together since 1970 and have celebrated one success after another, whether with hits, pop music, music for TV productions, audio books or as "specialists for projects with big voices and orchestral packaging". The reward for their work: over 12 million records sold, 24x gold, 6x platinum, 2x double platinum, 1x triple platinum.
