Additional info/contents	With "The Blue Planet" Kurt Gäble has created not only a musically very beautiful work, but also a socially critical one. The composition consists of three parts: In “Genesis - Creation”, delicate tones in the woodwinds and powerful sounds in the brass symbolize the original harmony between man and nature. “Progress - Progress” shows in its dramatic structure where the constant striving for prosperity leads: to the endangerment and even destruction of all the livelihoods of people and nature. Chorale-like, thoughtful-sounding brass sounds lead into the emotional third part. “New Life” - the new path is determined by simplicity and the pursuit of harmony with nature and the Creator. The sound of the bell at the end of the work symbolizes this final and essential goal.
