Additional info/contents	The original title of the polka composed on Strauss's trip to Russia was "Im Pawlowsk-Walde". The first performance in Vienna took place under his brother Eduard. The title was changed to Krapfenwaldl and takes its name from a well-known inn in the Vienna Woods at the time, or rather its landlord Franz Josef Krapf. As in Russia, the work led to storms of enthusiasm in Vienna, to which not only the cuckoo and the trilling of birds contributed.
