Additional info/contents	This work is a series of three pieces dedicated to the theme of "jazz" in the youth wind orchestra. The different movements can be played individually or as a whole, as required. Each movement makes different demands on the musicians. If swing phrasing is the essential element in boogie and blues, there is an approach to syncopation in ragtime. It is essential that the mood of the three basic forms of jazz (boogie, blues and ragtime) comes out clearly when playing. The pieces with a total duration of about 10 minutes are on the one hand a full-fledged contribution to every wind band concert and on the other hand are excellently suited as swinging and harmonious encore pieces to every concert programme.
