Additional info/contents On the Wildon Mountain, deep inside Austria, there once lived generations of giants, terrorizing the inhabitants of the valley. However, the people of the valley were determined to put an end to the barbaric invaders. This programmatic piece tells the story of the events step by step, or rather bar by bar. A spectacular and variegated piece for concert or contest, with lots of action in the different registers, as well as beautiful thematic materials throughout the piece.

Once upon a time a giant sex lived on the Wildonberg. They were wild men who uprooted big trees, hurled huge boulders around and carried logs as clubs.

The last of this dynasty, generally called the wild man, did the worst, so that the inhabitants of the village Wildau at the foot of the mountain did not know how to advise or help each other. They thought of making the terrible giant harmless, but they could not help him in any way. As soon as he noticed that the people were up to something terrible against him, he became so angry and raged so terribly that the whole area was devastated and the inhabitants became more and more impoverished.
