Programme notes *: "In the Sign of the Cross - In the Sign of Life" by Franz Cibulka. This was the title of the 52nd International Soldiers' Pilgrimage to Lourdes in 2010. More than 42,000 participants from over 40 nations made this pilgrimage a unique demonstration of peace worldwide. The present work was composed as an introduction for the procession of lights taking place during this pilgrimage and was premiered by the Military Music of Styria.
