Additional info/contents "Dona Nobis Pacem" is a three-part round by an unknown composer. It can be performed for many occasions, both in and outside church, often being used at Christmas. By the time of the holy crusades, this melody was incorporated into the Mass Ordinary (the manual of the holy mass). Dona Nobis Pacem is a free fantasia on this round, which itself naturally forms a part of the piece. If desired you can add vocals (solo or choir) to the band to enhance the spiritual feel of this fantastic work.

"Dona Nobis Pacem" is a Latin phrase that means "Grant us peace". It is a common invocation for peace and is often used in religious and musical contexts. The phrase is most commonly associated with the Catholic Mass, where it is part of the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) prayer. In the Catholic tradition, it is sung or recited as a plea for peace and reconciliation.

"Dona Nobis Pacem" has also become a well-known musical phrase. It is often included as a chorus or refrain in various compositions, especially in choral and vocal works. One notable example is the "Dona Nobis Pacem" movement from Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B minor.

The phrase has transcended its religious and musical origins and is now used more broadly as a universal call for peace and harmony in the world. It serves as a reminder of the enduring human aspiration for peace and a plea for the resolution of conflicts and the establishment of tranquility.
