Additional info/contents This work was commissioned by the three South Tyrolean bands Tisens, Prissian and Völlan for the joint concert, which was performed on 7 June 2014.

Three basic ideas form the background of the piece:
1. the harmony that emerges from this joint concert
2. the castles and palaces that characterise the area around Tisens, Prissian and Völlan
3. the chestnut, which is a trademark of the region

From these 3 basic ideas I then developed an overall concept. The initial theme, which runs through the entire work, stands in its grandeur and elegance for the castles, which were and are also always part of the history of the places. They form the constant element in the townscape as well as in the work.

The hectic and playful theme in the fast part stands for the hustle and bustle and the exuberant celebrations during the Törggel season. The focus here is on the chestnut tree, which with its spines as well as the erratic motif defended itself against its surroundings.

The slow middle movement finally expresses the last aspect of the piece, namely the harmony that arises between the people making music together.

In the final part, all three motifs are visibly mixed and sometimes sound simultaneously to underscore the (sound) fusion that was created with this exemplary joint project.
