Programme notes *: Once upon a time there was a majestic castle that sat on a hill overlooking the vast countryside. The castle was home to many people, from brave knights to beautiful damsels, and it was also the home of an ancient castle ghost who had lived there for centuries. The composition "The Knight's Castle" by Gerald Oswald tells the story of life in this medieval castle and introduces its residents. The music begins with a majestic introduction that captures the majesty and dignity of the castle. One day a brave knight rode to the castle on his magnificent horse to pay his respects to his true love, the beautiful damsel. The two fell in love at first sight and spent a lot of time together, walking through the castle gardens and whispering sweet words to each other. The old castle ghost watched the two sadly from the shadows. She had seen many lovers come and go and knew that love could sometimes be complicated. But the ghost secretly hoped that the love of the knight and the damsel would last.
