Programme notes *: Caresse is an ode to music. Since his early childhood, Thomas Asanger, who was born in Austria in 1988, has always been closely connected to music. Not just because the process of composing music is a very personal one, but from his early musical days, he connected to music it touches many aspects from ones soul: music as a friend, a mediator, companion and comforter. Music enables musicians to paint sound worlds that appear graceful, gentle and melodic through the different sound areas. It is definitely an art form to lead melodies towards tight and stirring phrases.
