Early in the morning, darkness and light rain form the backdrop but, after sunrise a beautiful, unspoiled valley stretches out before us; here, the unique flora and fauna draw our attention. With renewed courage we continue our trip, towards the far-away crucifix as the top. The creative special effects (wind, rain, cowbells and bird song) in this work enhance the musical atmosphere.

Programme notes *: It was a cool spring morning when a group of hiking friends decided to take a tour into the Austrian mountains. They had heard of a beautiful valley that could only be reached on foot and were eager to go there. The hike began in the dark and there was a light drizzle. Despite the unpleasant weather, the group was in great spirits and looking forward to the adventure that lay ahead. Equipped with headlamps, they followed the narrow path that wound through the dense forest. After a few hours they reached the edge of the forest and the sun began to rise. Suddenly a breathtaking scene opened up before them: a wide, untouched valley surrounded by high mountains. The group was overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape. The meadows were strewn with colorful flowers, and in the distance the lakes glittered in the rising sun. Full of new energy, the group made its way to the summit cross, which sits at the highest point of the mountain. The climb was steep and strenuous, but the views of the valley and surrounding mountains were worth it. When they finally reached the summit cross, they were proud and happy. They enjoyed the breathtaking views and took many photos to capture this special moment. The hike was an unforgettable experience and the group was grateful for the wonderful music of Thomas Doss that accompanied them on their journey. "Storia Montana" had made them feel like they were really in the Austrian mountains and helped them experience the beauty and challenges of nature.
