Additional info/contents	The "Blasorchester Südwind" is a symphonic band located in the South of Germany that invited Ferrer Ferran as a guest conductor in 2004. He composed this overture as a result of an "ironic" commission by the manager of the band who sang five sounds A flat (3) - B (2)- D sharp (4) - E (4) - F (3) that should be the basic motif of the composition. Ferran accepted the commission and composed an overture which develops these sounds. It is an attractive piece full of effects and imagination.
