Additional info/contents	Schwarz composed the Welcome Overture for the reception of the Saudi Arabian team in Bad Nauheim for the 2006 Football World Cup. His piece begins with fanfare-like trumpets to open the tournament, then all the teams enter in a cantabile. A player dreams of victory in the slow andante before the final and the winner are celebrated in monumental fashion. However, the most important message of the work is the peaceful competition between nations and hospitality during the tournament.
