From this 8 part piece 4 parts will be arranged for wind and fanfare bands.This part: 'Granada' is the first part of the original suite. It has a beautiful melody and should not be played to fast. Isaac Albeniz is een spaans componist en pianist. Hij werkte behalve in Spanje ook in Frankrijk en Engeland. Hij schreef enkele orkestwerken maar werd vooral bekend om zijn pianowerk. Enkele van die pianowerken zijn later georkestreerd. Een van zijn pianowerken is de 'Suite Española'. Uit dit 8-delig werk zullen 4 delen voor harmonie en fanfare gearrangeerd worden. Dit werk: 'Granada' is het eerste deel uit de originele suite. Het is melodieus van karakter en moet niet te snel gespeeld worden.
