Additional info/contents	When producer Leonard Freeman wanted to shoot a new TV series in 1967, his mother-in-law told him: "You should shoot something in Hawaii! That way I'll see more of you." She lived there and wanted her daughter closer. Then Mr Freeman decided to do a crime series. He called it The Man. And the man had to be the tough but sensual McGarrett. But the mother-in-law had another idea: "You should call the show Fatty Hawaii Five-0 Fat Thousand, because we're the 50th state of America!" And so the famous show, which ran for 12 years, was born. #Hawaii Five-0#fettaus is the longest running crime series in television history.
