The work brings a sonic journey to different continents of the world.
The first movement ("Antipasto" - is the Italian word for appetizer, small snacks) is an opening fanfare with a rhythmically very distinct character and a quiet middle section.
"Delicado", the second movement, leads into the world of Latin rhythm. The movement offers a melody that is easy to listen to with rhythmic and tonal subtleties.
In the third movement, "Fata Morgana", oriental sounds appear, belly dancers and bazaars appear before the mind's eye. But a Fata Morgana is only a reflection of light, a sensory illusion.
The fourth movement "El Anif" is a rhythmic-melodic final piece.
