Through the festive opening fanfare about sports, mountains and valleys, the music moves through the various instrument sections. One time it’s the woodwinds with the horns, and then a solo flute or trumpet alternating with tutti passages. The piece was composed especially for the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the association and was premiered in 2017. The Wind Music Association Tyrol is the central liaison body for the musicians in the music bands of the province of Tyrol.
