Additional info/contents	Dieses Stabat Mater für achtstimmig gemischten Chor a cappella entstand im Auftrag des Wiener Kammerchores unter der Leitung von Michael Grohotolsky. Die kurz gehaltene Komposition greift lediglich auf die ersten Verse der Dichtung zurück. Ostrzyga folgt nicht illustrativ oder deskriptiv den textlichen Details, sondern breitet eine meditative Grundstimmung aus, die eine Art Distanz zum Textinhalt herzustellen scheint, als ob dieser die Äußerung einer fernen, schon verblassten Erinnerung ist. Es wird aber auch eine Art Unvermeidlichkeit als Ganzes entfaltet, eine Art Gelassenheit oder innere Ruhe durch die Annahme der Geschehnisse.
