Additional info/contents This new work is based on Irish folk music. In the first part, the main theme is presented as a ballad, starting with the piccolo (as replacement for the flute which is widely used in Ireland), moving on the wood section to end with the entire orchestra.
It then changes to a kind of rock style theme: powerful, rhythmic accompaniment with effects in dampers, a pedal point and the use of the spoons which is typical of Irish music (Irish pub), high-range bongo drum (replacement for the Bodhran), etc. In this second part I introduced a second theme as a counterbalance, played by several groups, which has clearly a more legato character and therefore sounds more melodious. The climax of the work starts in the low-range brass section with its marcato theme that is developed with a great deal of rhythmicity in the accompaniment, clusters, etc. into a percussion solo interspersed by the orchestra in five-eight time with frequent parallel movement in chords (folk music style).
Towards the end, theme 2 recurs twice: first as heard earlier with an extra counter melody and accompaniment pattern, then in a canonical form, in which the theme is played by three groups. The conclusion is a repeat of the middle section in five-eight time.

"Dublimania" is a term used in the music world to describe a specific type of musical performance. The term is a combination of "Dub" and "Mania" and refers to the passionate and fascinating way in which elements of these musical genres are integrated into a composition.

This new piece is a fascinating fusion of Irish folk music and rock elements, creating a dynamic and captivating atmosphere. The composition features a variety of instruments and tonal textures, conveying a wide range of emotions and moods.

The first part of the piece begins with a gentle ballad introduced by the piccolo, reminiscent of the traditional soprano recorder in Irish music. The melody is taken over by the woodwinds and finally presented by the entire orchestra. This sensitive and melodic opening creates an atmosphere of calm and contemplation that immerses the listener in the world of Irish music.

In the second part of the piece there is a radical change in style, which transitions into a rock rhythm. Strong and rhythmic accompaniment with effects such as mutes, a pedal point and the characteristic spoons of an Irish pub give the piece a lively and infectious energy. The use of instruments such as the high bongo as a replacement for the bodhran enhances the rhythmic drive and authenticity of the Irish musical tradition.

A second theme appears in this section, which has a song-like character and offers a strong contrast to the rock atmosphere of the piece. This variety of melodic textures and moods gives the composition a deeper emotional dimension and greater musical depth.

The climax of the piece is introduced by the marcato theme in the low brass, which is expanded with powerful rhythms and acoustic clusters. A drum solo in 5/8 time brings an extra layer of intensity and tension to the piece, while the orchestra joins in with parallel movements in the chords, reinforcing the folk music style.

Towards the end, the second theme returns twice more, first with an additional countermelody and accompaniment patterns, and then in an impressive canon form in which the theme is played by three groups simultaneously. The piece ends with a repetition of the middle section in 5/8 time, creating a round and harmonious structure.

Overall, this piece is a creative and captivating interpretation of Irish folk music that impresses with its variety of styles and textures as well as its passionate expressiveness. It skillfully combines traditional elements with modern influences, creating a fascinating musical experience for listeners of all kinds.
