Additional info/contents	Zephyrs wurde in Gedanken an Hurricane Bob geschrieben. Bob zerstörte 1991 die Stadt Tiverton, Rhode Island (us). Die Studenten listeten viele Attribute auf, die ihnen zum Hurrikan Bob einfielen. 'Zephyrs' besteht aus 3 Teilen. 1. Brisen (Breezes): Eine Brise wird dargestellt. Die Blechbläser präsentieren die Stadt vor dem Sturm. 2. Glocken (Bells): Der Wind nimmt an Geschwindigkeit zu. 3. Bob: Der Hurricane trifft ein. Written for middle school-level bands but entirely successful with more advanced bands, Zephyrs was written as a depiction of the approach, striking, and lingering effects of Hurricane Bob to the shores of Rhode Island in 1991. Played as a single-movement work, it contains aleatoric elements and effects. It is not an intimidating work and is a great way to introduce students to contemporary techniques without unduly taxing them from a technical standpoint.
