Additional info/contents "Once upon a time... - a king!", my little readers will immediately exclaim. No, children, you are mistaken! Once upon a time - a piece of wood. " ... this is how the story begins. Geppetto, a poor Italian carpenter, carves a puppet out of a piece of wood, which he calls Pinocchio. This puppet dreams of discovering the world and becoming a real boy. He is disobedient to his father, does only what he wants and with every lie his nose grows longer. After many adventures, he wakes up one day transformed into a real boy.

The story of "Pinocchio" is a timeless tale that has captivated generations of readers and viewers around the world. Originally written by Carlo Collodi in the 19th century as a children's book, the story of Pinocchio tells the adventures of a wooden puppet boy who comes to life and sets out on a journey to become a real boy.

Julien Roh, a contemporary composer, has musically interpreted this fascinating story in his work for wind orchestra, also entitled "Pinocchio". Roh's composition captures the essence of the characters, the tension of the plot and the magical atmosphere of Pinocchio's journey.

The music of "Pinocchio" is lively and colorful, and it reflects the complexity of the story. The composer uses various musical motifs to represent the various characters and plot elements. From the playful melodies that represent Pinocchio's childlike innocence to the somber and mysterious sounds that evoke the darker moments of his journey, the music captures the emotional highs and lows of the story.

Julien Roh's composition "Pinocchio" offers a musical journey through the fascinating world of fantasy and adventure. Listeners are taken on Pinocchio's journey from a wooden creature to a real boy, and they experience the character's challenges, trials and moments of triumph through the sonic representation of the wind band.

The story of Pinocchio and its musical interpretation by Julien Roh are a powerful example of how timeless tales can be brought to life through the art of music.
